30-Second Summary

This systematic review and meta-analysis compared full versus partial pulpotomy in mature permanent posterior teeth with irreversible pulpitis. At 12 months pooled success was about 92% for full pulpotomy and 89% for partial, with full pulpotomy showing better pain control, but the overall certainty of evidence was low to very low and larger, longer trials are needed.
