30-Second Summary

In a cross-sectional online cohort (n=2945), greater discordance between workday and free-day meal timing (Meal Timing Jetlag) was associated with higher anxiety, depressive symptoms and insomnia severity, independent of sleep-timing measures. The anxiety association was J-shaped and the per-hour effect was modest; causality cannot be inferred from this design.
